That Archie Luxury chap up there is a bit of a prick isn't he.
I thought that too, then I found out that he's a paid actor used by the company to promote the brand.
    which brand?

My new job came with a company car, so I sold mine to one of the welldoanythingformoney places and bought a new bathroom and one of these, which I love very much. It's beautifully engineered:

    Nice :)

I got a brown leather Nato strap for my old Seiko at xmas, which is doing a fine job of making it look a bit more casual next to the Hamilton.

    I like it!

I only use that and a Seiko Kinetik that I got in an Amazon sale years ago - and the Seiko only in the workshop. Which leaves me with a Mondaine, Junghans and Citizen Eco-Drive that just sit unworn and unloved.

I still have my Mondaine. Not unloved but it stopped about 2 days after its last battery change so not sure if broken or just the chap at the battery shop arsing it up.

    Hmm.

But the angry man doesn't like them. I bet he'd hate my Bremont too. This fills me with a sense of wellbeing.

@Stickyfiddle, he's probably stumped as to why the second hand keeps stopping.

I got one of these over Christmas.  It's great.  It cost $10 and tells the time.

And it's got a Velcro strap, so people with freezing spatula fingers can do it up or take it off one handed.

Absolutely dreadful as a watch, but a great bit of gimmicky wrist wear.

Edit: Also the dial for the 24hr/GMT is upside down. FFS you do not stand a chance.

Music autoplays on their Brand page. I can safely assume their brand is "wankers who've never been near an office in their lives"...

well yes, but who gives a chuff what a big fat over stuffed berk like him thinks eh?

Bremont, Henley on Thames dontcha know. Yah. They do some very nice looking watches, yours included.

I'm in Heathrow a week on Sunday, so always enjoy a browse in Watches of Switzerland. They usually have some seriously tempting deals on too.

How's it going old bean? Loooong time....

They are watches for people who don't really need to know the time. Saying that, they must be cheap as chips: The movement can't be that complex.

    Pretty good thanks, you?

I went for the Bremont because it was pretty.I'm not entirely convinced by the brand story, but I do like a lot of the designs. Not too fussy. Though the themed ones I'm not so sure of.

I thought the sweary man was quite funny. He must be awfully unhappy.

I am well Andy, all is good in Snapville, if a little over busy. Not complaining though, at all.

the brand story in Bremont is a bit tenuous I think really, a good bit of marketing, I guess they need to try to identify themsleves with something distinct. Being British is a double edged thing in the world of watches, probably. Its all snake oil really, well upto a point.

If it looks good, and you like it?

I'm a total sucker for the whole brand thing in watches though, heritage, etc etc all that stuff. Gets me every time.
