  • Coming in a distant 3rd, mine just showed up. Quick fiddle and it’s all up and running. The array of online toanz is mind boggling, but my happy neighbours have already been regaled with a passable version of the flangey ’She Sells Sanctuary’ intro. First impressions v good I must say.

I ordered one of these on the 23rd before the offer ran out. It is in shipped status as of today and is in Germany.

Oooh reading your post made me check my email, and I’m in precisely the same position. Race ya :D
    Arrived. Did I win?

Only took just over a week.
It sounds like they have their production up at capacity with stocks available.  It takes a week to send something via regular air mail from the Far East, 3 days from Mainland Europe from Courier is not unusual.

Apparently, the code REFER40 used at checkout will get $40 off. Until the 9th

it's actually the 7th. 9/07 is the American calendar, so month first remember!

    Good point, excellent correction.

Though as it’s been said, there’ll probably be another promotion price along afterwards

  • The bass modelling is massively underrated on this amp. Some really nice bass amp mods and a good range of effects including my personal favorite the Big Muff. Really sounds great as a bass amp.

  • What's the headphone output like? Stereo? Better than a Katana?

It would make sense for it to have one. Positive Grid have done bluetooth foot controllers for Bias before so its within their repertoire.

Check out the Facebook group Spark Amp Mods.. there's a guy there who has developed a footswitch for it, think there is a Kickstarter and all... If you have the knowhow his plans and code are available to do it yourself.

thought I'd share my initial thoughts.

    It's OK.

To sounds average and has alot of features that are good for practice. It's probably the most complete practice amp avaliable... just missing a built in looper.

Overall I'd say it's worth the £200, but I wouldn't pay more. If you're all about tone, this isn't for you, but if you want something convenient for practice, it's a great option.

I was playing neck P90 through the Flat Acoustic amp with Ambient reverb earlier and it sounded lush. Quite piano like tones.

I think OK sums it up. I only really played mine for an hour or so but I didn't feel it sounded as good as my Mustang GT40
