I think that’s Emily Batty. She ought to know that she’ll struggle to clip in in those shoes

They’ll reek havoc with her saddle height too.  =)

Not got any pics at the mo but I've been enjoying my Voodoo Bantu (Joe Murray). Can highly recommend for a budget mbike.

Mine is a nice smoky blue colour (actually very similar to octs leccy bike). It's pretty old now but still working well.

  • Off for a weeks trip across Switzerland tomorrow, so here's a shot avec luggage. Going to notice the weight up the climbs!

    @Bron_Yr_Aur ;what's your route?

Hey. Just got back and seen this.

    We did
Day 1: Geneva - Yverdon through the Jura
Day 2: Yverdon - Chaux de Fonds
Day 3: Chaux de Fonds - Thun
    Day 4: Thun - Meiringen
Day 5: Grosse Scheidegg loop (no luggage!)
Day 6: Meiringen - Andermatt over the Sustenpass
Day 7: Andermatt to Lugano (over the Oberalppass and the Passo Lucomagno)

We passed through 8 Swiss Cantons, 4 languages, 680km and 11,276m of climbing.

It was tiring but amazing and I'm already itching to get back on the bike!

This is me on the Grosse Schiedegg I think...

  • NBD. I can't deny that lockdown has dampened any thoughts of N+1.

Took delivery of the SL yesterday. Fannied around with it a bit today, made some adjustments and set up tubeless and then went for its inaugural ride this evening. It’s such a great bike. More effort is required on the inclines than on the Trance but it’s more fun everywhere else.

    Awesome ^^^.

I've joined a local MTB group.
A mixture of electric and acoustic bikes.
It has been really good fun, although one bloke came off and broke his wrist when out with me for the first time.

I've been doing a lot of miles- 20-30 a day.
    Absolutely loving the Levo.

I've upgraded the derailleur (GX), rear cassette (Shimano XT), gone to a 36T on the front and a stainless steel chain.
I managed to break the stock NX, probably from shifting under too much power.
I've adjusted my technique a bit,

Ace I love riding in a group. An easy way to socialise, and when you've had enough chat you can just put the hammer down. :)

Only if you want to track your rides/stats and see other peoples rides. I mostly just enjoy the photos.

    I checked it out.

Apparently I joined years ago but I never used it.
    I'll start using it now.

Ohh nice. The Roscoe was high on my list when I was looking for my hardtail. Really like the slack head angle on hardtails. Spend some time getting the right psi on the tyres (iirc it's a plus bike)

So, I sold my Giant Trance E+ 1 Pro for £250 less than I bought it for 9 months (and 1500 miles) ago... crazy times!

And then promptly replaced it with this 2021 Whyte E160RS... which is magnificent!
