Mark Steel podcast - What The ***k Is Going On? A veritable curate's egg. "Good. And bad. In parts." 

Formulaic - to the extent that the durations of the individual sections can be predicted almost to the second. Probably serves me right for trying to catch up from episode 1. 

Not sure whether the funniest bits justify wading through the dross? I prefer the Alexei Sayle podcast.
