Pumpkins would go from Grunge to Cringe. In fairness, they kind of made that leap anyway without any help from Chappers.

I do see him as a large stodgy vegetable though, but always thought more of a turnip than pumpkin.

(And for any smart arses about to tell me that a pumpkin is a fruit, go have it with your f*cking ice cream then!)

I do not think he is a right fit for them. Sorry. They will be inundated with musicians from touring bands/who have a lot more experience at that level. It's not all about the technicality, because he can sure play it (in his own way).

If I were them I'd pick whoever comes across as enthusiastic, humble, energetic and cool. It'd be great if a female player joined them.
