In the first review I saw it stated that whilst many amps gave up the goods at the point of meltdown, the J did so safely within tolerances, implying longevity.

For an amp this good, with such a long waiting list, I wonder why there are so many for sale, though. I guess it's because people don't realise that it won't make them play better so they keep looking for the amp that will.

What is consider one of the best 5E3 Fender Tweed Deluxe amp out there that has a full reverb tank built in (instead of digital), around 20w with good attenuation too. 

The lead Channel on my Tone King Imperial comes close for me.
