I played one when I bought my custom 22 and I came very, very, close to buying it. It came down to the feel of the pattern neck on the custom 22 suiting me better than the pattern thin on the 408 I tried.

Ah, I much prefer pattern thin. 

If I found one with a satin pattern thin neck, I'd be very tempted.

It came out of the case and straight into my No.1 gigging guitar slot.

Totally sticky neck mind, goning to have to attack it with wire wool...

Awesome, how long have you had it? My neck was fine out of the box. Best guitar I've ever bought by a long shot!
