Lloyd Cole's first solo album (1990 I think), Zero 7 and the Blur singles album. Very much into Coxon at the mo.

"NoMeansNo", a somewhat obscure 'progressive punk' band from Victoria BC Canada that I saw live several years ago at the height of their career.  I always thought they should have been bigger, although they did tour a lot in Europe, but like Frank Zappa, they played long odd metre songs usually with off color lyrics.  Anyway, here's a live video of one of their better songs(the bassist and drummer are brothers)

Fullhouse by Kate Bush is my tune of this evening. My god what a band this fine woman had. On me phone so links are out.

    This afternoon has been:

Magazine here.  Cos of that John McGeoch thread I realised how little Magazine I knew.  So, been listening to "Correct Use of Soap" and it's really good.

Also, cos Spotify suggested that House of Love were like Magazine, I've been listening to them too.  I had the album that starts with "Hannah" on vinyl and it's been great listening to that again.  Plus "Shine On" is a good track -- I'm wondering if I can persuade the band I'm in to cover it :-)

Good old Spotify! I had never (and don't think
would ever) connect Magazine with HOL. Still.
That reminded me though- Levitation! Terry Bickers from the HOL with various members of The Cardiacs in an early 90's indie-pop-prog cross-over. I found thie following dodgy quality live vid

+1 Magazine, followed their career from start to finish.

If you liked Levitation then I have two recommendations for you:

    1) See if you can find the Australia-only album - Meanwhile Gardens - that they did with the singer from An Emotional Fish. Pretty good stuff, though he was no Terry Bickers.

    2) Have a go at Dark Star - basically the other guitarist, drummer and bass player of Levitation. I think they described themselves as "like Levitation with all the chrome wrenched off, then painted matt black". One actually-released album, 20-20 Sound, and one that was buried by the record company but which I understand may be available on the inferweb, called Zurich.

Various bits and pieces of Led Zeppelin - some of How The West Was Won, some of Led Zep II..

The bassist in my band also plays in a Led Zeppelin tribute and is just in the process of switching from bass to guitar in that band, so it's made me go back and listen to some Jimmy Page to see what a job he has on his hands. Rather him than me!

Don't get me wrong, he's a very talented guitarist - way better than me, but still...
