Got a few minutes on my Charvel CX291 into the Neural Plini X plugin this morning

OMG this was my first electric guitar…the music shop was having a closing down sale and my dad thought it was probably a bargain. We paid £175, which I thought was a large sum and it came out of my post office savings! I played it to death until I part exchanged it for a sonic blue Japanese ‘62 strat (at the time a mid-priced guitar) which I wish I still had!
I bought it last July for just a bit more than you did. Despite the original intention of these being budget/beginner guitars, it’s one of the best guitars I’ve ever played. The neck is gorgeous, resonates well and sounds great.

    Recording today… indie vibe stuff.

    The armoury was raided for…

My old 1963 Epiphone Casino.. killer P90s… via Neural Amp Modeller (NAM) which is impressing me more and more.

A Taylor GS Mini Rosewood Plus for some nicely balanced acoustic layers

An Aria SB1000 running in passive mode direct into the desk bringing the bottom end.

I had a bash through my little Bogner Atma today as a bit of preparation for the FB Western Jam in July.

I dont go out gigging - only very occasional recording with other people - so I use my Fractal for 95% of things at home.

It was the first time I hooked this pretty Hamer Vintage S into it after replacing the pickups.

I'm always looking for interesting USA Hamers for sale.

At the moment I'm looking for:
    * Hamer Watson, SS2, Vintage S, T62.
    * Music Man Luke 1, Luke II

    Please drop me a message.

Currently getting a lot of use out of this Tele Deluxe, for two covers band - one playing rock/pop anthems, the other 70s glam material:

Interesting - didn't all Tele Deluxes have a Strat headstock?

My understanding is that some early ones didn’t; Leo used whatever came to hand and sometimes that would have been the usual Tele foot-shaped affair.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

This is an early 2000s FSR model in a custom colour (CAR?) and with the 'proper' Tele headstock. I fitted Creamery WRHBs and nicer pots.

Current favourite squeeze, is the Daniel’s Jazzmaster into an Ac30-Tremlord stereo set up. It’s immense. This is early days though and yet to be gigged, but my word I want to gig this setup -it sounds so good!
