What a great sound too! I know you've probably mentioned your set up a thousand times but how are you getting that sound?
just found this... it's much more "me".. it's quite a few years old now..
anyways, it's my own composition based on Red by King Crimson.. this one is my little "hat tip" to KC given that I'm a little twig on an extended branch of their vast family tree..
the cool part is that I did this with Fripp's blessing [and he told me he quite liked this too]
the surprising part is that I wasn't given a public flogging for heresy by the die hard Crimson fans [they seemed to quite like it too]
the piece is called Purple cos it's a sort of fusion or Red with some Blues-ish Rock ideas here and there

Here's me safe-noodling over a song I've writing just to get some ideas.
Rough as old boots... but it gives an idea of where I'm coming from..
It was my first attempt at recording in Reaper using Scuffham S-Gear. The rhythm guitar was played on a Tokai LS160 LP and the lead on a 52' AVRI Tele.
The final idea will be to try and produce tracks where each instrument is a single take. No cutting, pasting or punching in. I want to try and get the recordings sounding like a band recording a live session.. warts and all

Hi @thomasross20,
I used EZ Drummer with the Americana EZX taped Gretsch Kit. I believe I used some of the Levon Helm beats.
It took about a morning to program, but that's only because I'm still getting familiar with the software.
EZdrummer.... if I have a track that is loose in time, can these programs detect that and adjust accordingly?

Starts with just the chords, so bear with it.
