    is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?

    Saw Foals last night in Aberdeen, really good gig but a wee bit too short. Forgot just how much I like their style, the faster stuff really is superb and the frontman is a character too. I'll be back listening to them for the next few days I'd imagine. :)

    some local stuff - We Lost the Sea...i saw these guys open for another local band Drowning Horse last week...they are amazing...so much power and so little dirt! they are 3 guitarists, bass, keyboards and drums. I strongly recommend a listen...their songs take a while to develop but when they do, you'll be more than happy and rewarded by the outcome...@drew_fx @antique_guitars ;

    Garbage and Angelfish

    Saw Garbage on Saturday in Edinburgh and decided I really needed to complete my collection - got the Garbage b-sides album (they played a lot that's on this, they were doing everything from the first album era) and the only Angelfish album, which is brilliant too.

    Shirley Manson. That is all.

    The just-released Scorpions deluxe editions.

    Fool that I am, I could not resist the lure of digipaks, DVDs of dodgy old video clips and a handful of unreleased demo tracks.

    I remember buying this and the bloke behind the counter who knew me (I had a serious CD habit at the time) said "you'll really enjoy this". It ranks amongst the biggest understatements I've heard or read. It's the great lost English psychedelic album.

  • KISS's "Destroyer" album. The remastered version. A classic album, sounds even better re-mastered and cranked. Delicious. Great cover art too.

    I saw Jo Quail support Caspian a couple of weeks ago. Stunning performance, and masterful use of loops.
