Paragraphs or not, if I posted an 1100 word post this thread would be full of people complaining that it’s too long.  Plus, how else could I build such a sense of tension and anticipation?

I feel the end of the story was a bit of an anti-climax.
Think of it as a “Previously, on 24” recap

I was thinking more of the very end of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" (1970s Donald Sutherland version - no spoilers, but hey it scared me!)

But more seriously, it's good to know the process seems to work. Not the crazy apocalypse some thought it was going to be.

  • Some people on here really will moan about anything
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Of course, it is the last bastion of British values.

As I’ve said a couple of times, people have no patience anymore! However, @photek has the right idea. You’ll all get to see it when I see it in the flesh. Then you can all tell me it’s shit, I got ripped off and modern guitars are much better!

Glad to see you’re paying attention. I know brevity is the soul of wit, but allow me a little more than just a bullet pointed précis of my experience

You all say you’re interested in the process, but it’s not just the guitar seeking approval. I’ll cry myself to sleep tonight.
