For the record I’m not on Twitter, but I had a funny feeling that if I’d posted the whole lot at once, paragraphs and all, there would be reply after reply complaining that it was too long and I should have split it up. So I split it up. By paragraph. It’s not like I tried William S Burroughs style cut and paste prose. Obviously, I know what’s coming next....

I strolled back from the US with a guitar in October. Not that it was Cites infringing but nobody even looked to see what it type of guitar it was or even questioned me about it.

It went through the xray machine in it's bag and that was it. 

I think this CITES thing is that environmentalism is fucking awesome until it messes with your own interests, then it becomes a cumbersome sledgehammer to swing and miss a nut, doesn't fix the perceived problem and makes someone else a fuckload of money.
