is the current peach iced tea  someones returned guitar ?

it seems quite heavy compared to some that have been bought

    tempted

what are peach like with returns -

It's 8lb 10oz ? A month ago this may have been considered medium weight. Don't sweat the weight, that one is perfect.

Mine is 8Ib 14oz and is glorious

My Joe Perry is nearly 11Ib so the R8 is feather light for me

From memory, there were also people in this thread complaining because they were just putting guitars up on the website without posting here, or they were selling them to people in the shop before they ever went on the website.  It's nice if they post here as a favour, but one or two of the comments weren't great.

Wasn't there also some talk of another incident with a Hudson Broadcast?

If you are Peach, you wouldn't want to risk someone googling them and coming up with things like that.

If you add the phone call onto that, then I can understand them leaving.

We do seem to have a history of driving off retailers.  Andertons left ages ago.  There also used to be someone from Guitar Village who posted on here, and MarkGak, who we don't seem to see around any more.

This totally - id get pissed off if i was giving guys the inside track on a deal for them to later complain coz what appears to be they didnt get first dibs on there 3rd or 4th R8 from the deal! Peach dont owe anyone special treatment!

    so Back to R8's....

Are there actually any left for sale anywhere now ? I mean new ones from retailers, not on the bay or the tree ?

Now I usually hate it when the pick guard is removed.

But that looks awesome with the zebras

Bet it does - but what do your neighbours think once you crank up the stack?

I'm detached so that helps and i make sure all the windows are shut. I then proceed to blow them straight out

Wow, just wow. Just spent a good hour or so at least with the lemon into hardwired orange with El34s, set at the point of breakup with a touch of spring reverb. Completely and utterly blown away.

It is so freaking fat it is ridiculous. Warm and thick on the neck with this woolliness that is so hard to describe but incredibly characterful. Played with fingers it is completely gentle and softly soulful, bring in some light pick work and this ringing treble comes to join the fun. Dig in a bit more and the amp gives out this hairy overdrive. Combine all three and the dynamics are simply perfect.

And when you stop playing, it keeps on ringing and ringing and ringing. The lemon is the best of the bunch for this, I'm a complete nerd and timed it, over 20 seconds of sustain before I gave up and unplugged. WTF?

Just wrote about 3 new progressions. Love it love it love it.
