You have to ask yourself why Ebay tolerates this kind of blatant crook. If they were serious about making it a safe platform for buyers and sellers he would be permanently banned.

You have to ask yourself why Ebay tolerates this kind of blatant crook. If they were serious about making it a safe platform for buyers and sellers he would be permanently banned.

I'd never looked at that screen before am I right in thinking those are the names which he has used with that account? I.E. he keeps changing his identity!?

Plus no doubt he will have other accounts.

Yep. That’s exactly it. Once he builds up a reputation as a crook he clearly changes name and carries on. He definitely does have other user names (sock accounts) as he’s messaged me before trying to buy stuff. Language is the same and the usernames are similar.

In April last year I reported him many times to eBay for
multiple violations of policy including misdescribing items, threatening behaviour, operating as a business without a business account etc.. 

In general eBay didn’t respond to my concerns although they did return my money.

Yes he has a lot of other accounts and is pretty busy with it too- also there are quite a few other people using the same or similar tactics.

Any decent guitar located in the UK is going to get an offer from one of his accounts.
Buying dirt cheap and selling at a profit isn't a crime, but I don't deal with these people- mostly because I'm not desperate to sell and don't need the headache (even when I was in the UK, which I'm currently not).

Recycling the buyers pics is dirty pool, but not illegal- I'm not sure what the rules are around selling something before you have legally taken possession of it though.

I've noticed one or two accounts on this forum using the same technique (pics recycling, selling before the purchase arrives) as well.

But based on his dodgy appearance can you be certain it's his real name? The guy running essex recording studios is American, not that it matters really though. Unless he has an Italian brother lol.
