I suspect this is old news to many people but a weird thing I didn't know until today is what happens when you use Google to look up the word askew.
If you don't know the answer it's one to try yourself.
    Other ones: anagram and recursion

A few years ago an old friend of mine died and was cremated in Redditch. The excess heat from Redditch crematorium is used to help heat the nearby swimming pool so as well as being perfectly cooked for a brief moment she was also helping some children learn how to swim (possibly).

Another word to Google ( you have to use actual Google for these things):

    recursion

    Oh. Damn.
Roland said: Scales are primarily a tool for categorising knowledge, not a rule for what can or cannot be played.
Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

Some bodies sit up and can take on a  pugilistic stance - a boxer's pose - during cremation. And the ashes you get afterwards are not the remains, they are the cremains.

If the guns of HMS Belfast were fired from where she’s moored in London, they’d score a direct hit on London Gateway services on the M1.
    What are they waiting for?

Nah - I'm actually going to medical science.

Transplant what they can - but my Brain and Spine to one of the brain banks for research. So few brains are donated that it is a real problem for research into dementia in particular.

They want healthy and unhealthy brains - all information is good for that cause.
Me too.  I gave my brain to them a few years ago.

As for Tarzan's call ... don't even ask. Well, it contains, among other things, the call of a Laughing Kookaburra (found only about 13,000 kilometres from Tarzan's place in Africa), and various other weird stuff I forget.

A sloth only defecates once a week and their poos are enormous. A sloth takes so long to pass a poo that it is very vulnerable while doing it….a third of all sloth deaths are from predators while it’s taking a dump.
