    It was.

Great episode, this - best of the series so far, easily - I only just watched it since I was out last night, but y'all weren't wrong about Clara with that hair and that dress! Although I didn't actually find her *that* distracting.

Clara = young Nora Jones. Mmm. Yes, good episode. Pity they aren't consistently that good.

  • I enjoyed it too.
His character is developing very nicely - i think Capaldi is becoming an excellent Dr.
Cant work out if him and Claras character are "just friends" though or that they really fancy each other.

I think there's some sexual tension left over from the previous Doctor, but it's turning more into a fatherly thing. There's definitely a soft heart that needs her love, despite external appearances and attitudes.

Thing is, the dodgy thing being explored yesterday is "is it an addiction" and given her response last night... the Doctor is going to pimp Clara to feed his habit - and you're all going to watch... you disgust me... ;)
A sig-nat-eur? What am I meant to use this for ffs?! Is this thing recording?

  • Excellent. Bit of mystery in the ending, too.

Quite happy with the way this is going.

    Yep. Enjoyed that.

I was one of the few that loved Matt Smith, but Capaldi is another level entirely. Wonderful stuff

Watched it on iPlayer at 1 am with the headphones on. Some nice swirly sounds. Good episode. I shall have to ask my mate Martin the Community Payback manager what he thought of it!

Good episode .. I wondered if it was a dummy run for a female Doctor at some point ...

When I saw Bristol I was worried about the accents, but the old guy's was good and you didn't really hear much of the others. That train was a bit old though.

  • The community payback leader who couldn't see the physic paper, I reckon the Dr had him eyed up as a wrong un.  He'll be back.

I asked him. He said he hadn't seen it and when I described the story he expressed concern about the amount of paper work that would have generated.
