You're in the minority there matey. From where I sit, that comment wins the award for being the most incorrect thing posted on the internet today.
Last time I saw a Slash (with the Les Paul) or GnR poster anywhere when it actually meant something was late 90s in music shops or live music venues.
By 98'-00' all got replaced by the Green Day, Fugees, Blink 182, Coldplay and Ben Folds Five genre along with the seemingly infinite supply of Fight Club movie posters though. Thus endeth the Gibson Rock reign and Slash was just clinging on to a decade old reputation.

I thought it was amazing. Lots of really good stuff there that I wouldn't get to see in my local shops. It's a dangerous place, loads of guitars that I would never have considered buying if I saw them online but look amazing in real life. A pink Les Paul with P90s? Yes Please! The staff seemed helpful, allowing lots of people trying out all expensive stuff.
It's well worth a visit, I can't wait to go back.
