People like this just think they are both infallable and cleverer than everyone else.  Being found out has no doubt bruised his massive ego and he's now trying to show what a clever clogs he is by continuing to try and scam people at a place he's been previously rumbled.  The "my dad's bigger than your dad" tactics of claiming threats etc are a classic push the boundary tactic which he undoubtedly will have used before.  I am not surprised by the use of that tactic or the claiming that any attempted contact is "harassment". 

He has no intention of reporting anything or anybody to the authorities providing nobody here does anything daft.  He does it to get people to back off and it worked perfectly here when he did it.   If he was as clever as he thinks he is then he would have left it there and stayed clear of here.  His ego however won't let him and that will ultimately be his undoing.

yes, inform the police.
collate all the ripoff deals, all the new attempts to sign up to commit more fraud here, links to the other forums where we know he has done this in the past/present, and all his personal details/IPs.
and inform the police, they are only people who can do anything about this guy.

(also maybe as you could contact the admins of similar websites to this, where its highly likely he's doing the same thing, and giving them a headsup on his details/IPs etc and let them know which police to contact if they have info)

Thank you for pointing that out. I was concerned that I might be mistaking Jonathan Collingridge, brazen serial scammer, proprietor of J. Collingridge Award Winning Architectural Photographer, and putative originator of a number of images which may or may not violate the copyright of other photographers but which look kind of familiar with a different J. Collingridge, brazen serial scammer and Architectural Photographer who may or may not have form for scamming on a number of specialist car modification sites...

No. Collingridge has committed crimes on here. People have paid for goods they never received. It should be a police matter.

We have his wife's contact details, maybe a polite email to her to check that Jonathan's OK? 

Again, it should be a police matter. Sending emails to the wife of a possibly mentally distressed person is not the way forward.

Can i make a recommendation to all involved in this forum. Despite only a small number of us actually being made victim of this chump i suggest we all file this as a crime on the action fraud website.

 We are all witnesses to this and all of us have the potential to be scammed as the guy keeps coming back to milk his cash cow. Action Fraud works through a numbers system both in reports and financial loss. The bigger either of those numbers are, the more readily a case is handed to the police and investigated.

We all have a duty to do something about this....

I find it astonishing that he (Jon Collingridge) is STILL trying to register new user names here! I kind of get the fact that he is looking to prove to himself that he can still scam a group that knows who he is and is aware of his previous exploits but equally, I'm beginning to question his sanity....

I'm a bit late here, but I'm gutted to hear about how many people this scumbag has f*cked over.

Just read through this whole thread and it's got me seething.

I've been done over in the past for around £400 (different bloke), so I know how frustrating/infuriating it is.

Hope he gets what's coming to him!

I'll spread the word as much as I can to make sure this clown's name is tainted big time.

Public interest story. Be aware of someone in the area type thing. Newspaper might want to get all 'Social Justice' on it.

But they will certainly investigate it thoroughly before printing.

I think you've got to be careful with that. There may be a rebound effect of people being cautioned for making false accusations. He didn't rip me off. So I'm not reporting any financial fraud. That would be a fraudulent claim on my part.

I expect that the national press might be interested in a story about internet fraud. Similar the IT press, and even our friends at Future Publishing. It might also be worth asking journalists for the photographic magazines whether they have encountered similar fraud with camera equipment.

there's an option to report crime witnessed, or subjected on another person.
