Better get on with it - @Mojopickups has done the rather cool looking Teisco style Gold Foil neck pickup already, and I've got the Tru-oil off the body (look for Greased Lightning - some dodgy car cleaning stuff, if you ever need to do this, works really well).

The body is getting a mixture of bronze and copper paints so I'm going to mix them today and get messy...fotos to follow hopefully (assuming we don't get flooded in between)

Here is the Gold Foil pickup....

I wish I could donate more, but having spent out on guitar bits and bobs, I'm a bit skint.  However, I might be flogging my xbox soon as it's used for nothing but sucking away my life, so I may donate a few bob from the sale of that.

That was absolutely not the intent behind posting the total amount donated to date!

We've had donations from a few ££s upwards, and that's absolutely fine.  "From each according to their ability to pay" is something I remember from my economic history lectures, and is a principle that I'm very happy with.
