I've used them a couple of times, and they work great - just put heat shrink over them a job jobbed

They make life very easy for the end user, as Mister Jooky said you just plug them in and put heatshrink or tape over them to insulate them.

where do you get the connectors from? I currently use small terminal blocks in my guitars, but these would be much more convenient

They came from Stew Mac in the US.
I recently saw some similar ones on eBay too.
