  • Nice one, excellent time!

    5 miles through the quarry today, slightly longer route. My legs and lungs were fried at the end. I think we went a little faster but it probably has something to do with a very difficult fast yesterday, and not enough breakfast today.

    Cheers, yeah I'm improving again after a dip in the summer, I hope to get back under 23 before the end of the year.

    Getting closer. 
    Off to the in-laws for Christmas on Thursday. I suspect I'll put in a LOT of miles whilst there if only to get out of the way for an hour or so.

  • ... And I'm done! 25k in the last week puts me on 1015k for 2017. 
    I've enjoyed the challenge & lost 3kg by simply running more!

    My final tally is 800k for 2017 and I only really ran properly for the second half of it so I'm pleased with that.

    2018 I plan to do at least 1000k and attempt a half marathon (longest run so far is 16k)

    Almost back on it now. 16 miles a week currently, 4 miles per run. I've also bought some Xero Shoes Ipari Prio - zero drop and not much in the way of cushioning, so I'm transitioning back to the "I'm running like I need a shit" style.

    Well done!    I have less than 4 weeks now until the Brighton marathon. Unfortunately I my IT band has flared up and I have a bit of a swollen knee  I seem to be managing it OK now though and yesterday I managed 30km with no pain.
