There are channels on sky which only show pap American made for TV movies. Missus Munckee sometimes watches them.  They make most of the films mentioned here look like the godfather
One of the channels has become a Christmas film channel. In September.

I would willoingly listen to paint dry rather than watch these films, most of them will be about someone either facing tragedy which all comes good at Christmas or someone who doesn't know the "true meaning of Christmas".

It's odds-on that every film they're going to show will be a contender for worst film ever.

Lady In The Water by Shylamalan is supposed to be a classic 'turkey' but I really liked it.. a bit of a family favourite.
Probably because of Paul Giamatti's superb performance in it.

The trailer tries to make out it's a horror film which is completely stupid as it's the opposite, i.e. a fairytale.

“The Core” is one of the worse films I’ve ever seen, “Burlesque” with Cher and Christina Aguilera is another - no redeeming qualities in either one.
The Core?!!! It's a great movie. Excellent rainy Saturday afternoon fare.

    Meet the Feebles.

The only time I walked out of a cinema before a film ended. How the frig Jackson went from that to LOTR is beyond me.
Well, I turned off the DVD of LOTR about two hours in because I just couldn’t be bothered wasting any more time on it, so perhaps there is a pattern...

  • We have a bunch of DVDs like Chop Kick Panda and Tappy Toes. If it’s objectively bad movies these must be up there. Although, as above really, ten minutes scanning the film channels on Freeview brings up some shockers ( The Dog Who Saved Christmas and that kind of thing).

Anyway, someone has kindly ripped all of Chop Kick Panda to YouTube...

The Happenimg started off really interesting with the suicides but then it was just people running away from wind. The Hallmark channel is a Christian movie channel and that has some stinkers, white motherfuckers with whiter teeth finding love, sometimes not realising it was right on front of them. Aaah...

  • Driven, starring Sylvester Stallone and Burt Reynolds. Need I say anymore? You have to watch it to believe how bad it is.

Oh, and not forgetting Vanilla Sky. Yes, it’s much worse. At least I could tell you what Driven is about, but even having seen Vanilla Sky, Ive no idea what was going on.
