    Hmmm

Anyway, no doubt Bonamassa and Trogley bought them all.

Gibson Custom website is showing the aged and signed version rather than VOS as $9999. That's more like what we're used to for Gibson prices ;)
Haha, I can't wait for the fans to start explaining that the key to his tone is the one nickel ferrule on the tailpiece! ;)
Adam has claimed that they key to his tone is the metal used in the silverpaint somehow affect the guitar's sound. I read that somewhere.

I met him once after a Swervedriver gig at the ICA, seemed like a nice chap.

Jesus.... that's quite possibly the worst guitar video I've seen for some time!

    Bye!

What?! Go and check out Tool’s back catalogue this instant. Start with Lateralus for an easy way in, then Aenima, and 10,000 days. They’re an album band, it’s hard to just pick the odd song here and there.

I’d always go Undertow myself but that’s mostly because I did spend 3 years listening to that, RATM, Superunknown, and Dogman on rotation

    Neither have I.
But that's not surprising if he's a heavy metaller.

    New one on me, too..
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

To be fair i associate Tool more with intricate and almost leading bass work with ace vocals.

  • Cool guitar and yes an original would cost less, however I bet these end up pricier after a few years.

Does it come as standard in drop D? I still remember the blister I got trying to do that open string pull off triplet thing that Adam does a lot.

Of course he has one. I wouldn't be surprised if he is part of some marketing machine with Gibson. Yep, the prices have gone absolutely insane.

By the way, the Peach one has sold. Not surprised.

Apparently there are problems with the cases already.

  • I love the fact that there’s a lot of people here who are hopefully going to be introduced to Tool.

Yes they’re classed as ‘metal’ but they are a whole lot more musically and are a genuinely amazing band!

I agree, Tool are fantastic, as are A Perfect Circle. Not just 'metal' but extremely well written music.
