    Just got back and great to see @digitalscream and @Roland ;

Thanks too for theFretboard neck support.

I don’t want to appear churlish about a gift but it’s not that comfortable and I question its orthopaedic benefit….

Saw Dave Hill of Slade fame there when I first arrived, noseying about the ATB and then Eggle stands, which was great.

Then bought a Gibson M2 for next to nothing which was even more great.

Then saw Dave Simpson, bought some strings, got some free picks and came home. Fantastic day out.
Just so people are aware. I have no idea what any of these words mean.

I saw KDH, Dave Simpson and Chappers but not Dave Hill

Had a chat with Roland and digitalscream as well as Jason. Great show as always. If I could fit it in I'd go back tomorrow for sure.

I brought my co-guitarist to his first ever guitar show and he was blown away at how civilised everything was.

Had my ears probed by a nice man on the ACS stand with an interesting gadget. It’s too many years since I had moulds taken, and my Pro17 plugs don’t fit any longer. Last time it was done with quick setting plastic. This time it was (I think) ultrasound.

Miles Deakin at Custom Audio is that nice man:

Feel free to say hello if you see us.
    Are any other greetings acceptable?
    Grrrrrreetings are never acceptable.

Speaking of which, I heard Chappers telling a punter that he'd just bought a hotel in Malta, in between selfies and hugs with adoring fans. Same old.

Great show, lots to see and try.   Tempted for a moment to buy this but some shiny plectrums got my cash instead.  Enjoyable day out cheers.

That was great! Tried loads of guitars - Yamaha revsta was never something I'd thought of but the rss20 was really good. Realised I don't like p90s, didn't take to the telecaster deluxes I tried including the Japanese used one - thought I would. Walked out with a very reasonably priced acoustic electric I didn't know I wanted. I did see  the fretboard stand, but couldn't work out what was going on or what I might say so, er, just kept walking...saw Rob Chapman and he was doing a great job of encouraging the next generation of guitarists so not sure why he gets so much flak here. Also tried a Chapman on one of the effects stands - it had been lent to them. I kinda liked it...

Did anyone try out the Tuffset bridge today?
Did not visit his stand and try it - But he came over to the FB stand and had a good long chat with us - Well engineered bridge - Neat and tidy and lightweight -Was talking to us about one or two other 'projects' - Plus had a chat with lee @digitalscream about potential 'FB members' offer so watch this space

Guitar of the show for me - the Eggle '96 with cocobolo neck. Good lord it was nice. Also very impressed with the Shergold @ £350ish. Incredible guitar for the money.
Going back tomorrow to hopefully try a few pedals - Hello Sailor in particular.
    Excellent show :)
