Looks like the Mandalorian Was the win they wanted it to be.

Hope it doesn't end up like Marvel Netflix.

In other news, regarding what I said earlier about 'manufactured controversy' after the Bo-Katan episode, I'm now 90% sure that's the case after today's episode.

Good episode though. Added some depth to someone you'd not have expected it from and some Foreshadowing to the sequels.

Soul is their Christmas Day release, Disney are expecting it to be the most watched television programme in the world that day - Christmas in a pandemic is almost a dream scenario for selling Disney subscriptions.

Yeah, not even going to try and be vague, so spoiler box it is.

Last one is HUGE.

Pretty much went all out, the whole Fett not being a Mandalorian (because clone, no reference to Jango) is still in play, and they tipped the hat to Katee with a BSG Reference. On that topic, I'm pretty sure her 'Last of my line' line in The Heiress was a BSG nod too (End of line)

They got everyone together again, except for Ahsoka, I guess they don't want to over expose her before her spin off.

Mando himself, i have felt once again, kind of lets the Mandalorian name down. He's a badass when it comes to fighting your average canon fodder, but put him up against someone that knows what they're at and meh.. at least we know why they introduced the Beskar spear.

Not so subtle first order reference. Good Gideon show down though, where Mando's plot dependant combat inconsistency Turns up again and is suddenly worthy of ancient Mandalorian Fighting prowess.

I honestly didn't think they'd go that far.

Looks like they're actually using this series to re-launch the franchise, rather than the sequel trilogy. That's absolutely the right thing to do, IMO, and it's actually got me interested in the wider story again.
