@tekbow I don’t think it’s IG88 - I saw something the other day that listed it with a different name, still an IG series though either way!

I just named it for the toy when I was a kid, I called all assassin droids IG88, was bitchin how they had him move.

They seem to have diverged a little from the Rebels Mandalorians, which AFAIK are canon. Have they dispersed even more in the time since just before the rebellion? Lots to find out.

Saw it last night - really enjoyed it, although I think the first part was a bit iffy TBH. Can tell it's a Disney series, that's for sure.

However - the final part in the compound was superb! Thought I recognised the voice of the Mandalorian; it's Pedro Pascal (in a role that hopefully involves keeping his head intact this time).

They have, but I quite like the hints towards the purge and displacement of their people. I didn’t expect to see more of their culture straight away, so that was a tantalising surprise!

No reason to assume it's not just another random dude from the same species. At least, not yet... I'm sure we'll find out more soon.

Frankly I'll be most pleased if they manage to go a full season without showing us any character we've seen before. I'm sure Favreau will understand this, and I understand the whole point of this series is to start opening up the SW universe into areas and stories we've never even heard of before. They do have a whole frickin galaxy after all...
