I was scanning through the FM stations in the car the other day and it was an endless stream of local / independent / franchised national stations with one, but usually two, vacuous drivel-mouthed narcissists blathering utter shite and both constantly laughing at their own moronic verbal arse-gravy.  I want to kill them all.

Is that wrong ?

I'd say wanting to is OK, so no not wrong, but doing so would be seen as crossing the line.

Brian Matthew was quality on his Saturday morning 60s show, used to drop in a few odd curveballs like The Mothers of Invention. Had a real knowledge of his stuff.

Stopped listening to him a few years back. I liked the music, didn't mind him, but those 'factoids'...

Liked him when he did Mr Angry from Purley, probably his heyday. 

I noticed too that when he did his half hour request slot, most of the songs lengthy. No chance of a 2 minute burst, but if its over 5 minutes then you're ticking the right boxes. I think he just likes to put the kettle on.

Radio 2 used to be our permanently tuned to station, we can’t abode it now, except for weekends (that creature Ryland is a weekend exception though...off it goes!)

One thing I certainly don’t miss from working in the office is they had Radio 2 playing in the canteen and the loos. So I wouldn’t have the opportunity to turn him (or that ridiculous phone-in chap) off.
