  • Right now, I can't think of anything I want more than a Kemper powered rack.

Subsequently, I can imagine wanting to borrow an awful lot of amps.

Fender Blonde Bassman 6G6B although it's not going to happen any time soon.  The arrival of a 56 Tweed Champ and 62 Brownface Princeton to go alongside my Satellite Baracuda has helped to tame that GAS for a while!

    Some nice amps there.

Think I will add a 6505, Jet City Amelia and AX8 to my list.

Or maybe Martin could combine all the amps on my list in to one monster MJW! Channel one - modded Marshall with a gain toggle switch, Channel Two - brutal 6505...

  • The mini Jubilee has cured amp gas for me.

I hate to tell you this, but you've been misled by your rock doctor.

GAS is a relapsing-remitting condition. You may have long periods of remission, but it'll come back.

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.

I only have very modest amp GAS. Id like a Boss Katana 50w.

I really fancy one of those little Orange Crush 20RT combos.

Does anyone know if they're any good?

I'm after buying a little amp for home.

    I'm currently after either a

    Marshall Mini Jubilee head

    OR

an MJW Goldstar SS with a Roadstar 18w power section

    OR

    an Orange OR15

I would however have to sell my Budda Superdrive 30 to achieve any one of the above and that's a bit of a wrench

  • A 65 Princeton Reverb Reissue. If a used one came along at the right price, I don't think I'd be able to stop myself....

Attainable, half-way plausible that I might actually do it?

Selmer SV - Built a couple of hundred yards from where I live and I've heard some fabulous classic rock sounds out of them on Youtube demos etc.

Probably followed shortly after by a decent attenuator as I imagine even a 50 would be a bit much for a pub gig...
Don't ask me, I just play the damned thing...

They're not as OTT as you think. Unless you're cranking them for amp distortion!

I've been considering one too. Probably the head version.

@digitalscream - I just picked up the non powered version. Best gear purchase I have made in a long time. I'm using the DI profiles into my Marshall and cab - Awesome piece of gear.
