    Same as ever...

    HiWatt Custom 50
    Pre65 AC30 Bass Model head

But I also have a hankering for a 68 Custom Deluxe reissue, I quite fancy another old Selmer head (for shits and grins) and I'd like a VamPower 100 head to match my ickle Power Baby combo I've had for years.

Pretty much Amp'ed out, but evetually a Roland JC40 I suppose

If I had the storage a Fender Twin, full Marshall stack, and a JC120
Imagine something sharp and witty here ......

Did you ever find a distortion/OD pedal that sounded good with a JC40? I used to have one and loved it but the dirt pedal issue I never resolved.

I still want to try out a Sunn Model T at gig volumes, but apart from that I think....I think...I'm actually content with what I have right now. Apart from a few teething problems at the beginning, my Matamp GT1 has been a revelation. I still might send it back to the factory to get it re-tolexed and powered down to 50w...in which case I will need a back up to tide me over...

I'd love to try a Ceriatone Yeti 50 as well.

  • Off the top of my head...

    Tweed Deluxe or Pro

    Vintage 47 Twin Speaker Supreme

Louis Electric KR12 or (and?) Buster

    Marshall 1974 18W

I could probably think of more but they're top of the list!

    Dumble.
Just to see what all the fuss is about and to sell it at a tidy profit when it fails to live up to my expectations.

  • Very very happy with my 65 DRRI, but still seriously considering a Tremoverb, probably the head but the combo weighs a f*ckton.

The Ceriatone or the Sunn? I'm in North Herts. Not too far but bit of a bitch for me to get down as I don't drive (hopefully should be rectified next year).

I've been really tempted to pull the trigger on the Yeti and shift the Matamp but the latter is too good to budge!

  • First of all I'm after a small house amp, so I don't have to lug my MASSIVE Princeton reverb everywhere and can leave it at the studio.  So Boss Katana, Fender Mustang or Spider V type thing.

Then when that's sorted I'm going to save up for a bigger 30-50w combo, something by MJW I would imagine.

No amp GAS at all since I got my Helix.  I'm trying though, spent a good while looking but nothing's giving me GAS

If money, space and volume were not an issue:

Lazy J20 - just to see what all the fuss is about
Two Rock Cardiff - because the idea of that amp appeals to me
    JCM800 and a nice 4x12 - I miss my old one
Fender Super Six or Quad Reverb - because they're  bananas
Swart AST in some form - because they do sound lovely

    Noise, randomness, ballistic uncertainty.
