I quite fancy a little tweed style single ended head with reverb. One 6v6 in cathode bias should put out around 4 watts so won't need a master volume.

Then again it might be overkill for home use, a Crush 35RT may be more sensible, I have tried one and it was excellent

I actually have a bit of cash now, what are people's thoughts out of the following:

Victory V30
Victory Kraken
Friedman Runt 20/Pink Taco
Bogner Atma
EVH 5153
Mesa Dual Rec
Stormshadow Hellfire

I know all fairly random, just what I fancy in my price range (based on used prices).

I'd go for a Dual Rec and an EQ pedal to add some more mids.

A Dual Rec would be awesome.

Think I'm going to keep it British though and go with either the V30 or Hellfire (as they are the best used bargains I can see at the moment).

Gassing for something different to my Laney now. Just bored of its tone! Want something fat and warm with real character for riffy stoner rock. Maybe an Orange Dual Terror or a Jet City.

The dual terror is good, the rocker 30 is similar but has a lot more in terms of tone-shaping features. Might be worth a look.
