My list would be something like this:

I'm not a massive Dream Theatre fan but the solo to Under a Glass Moon is epic.

The outro solo to Telegraph Road is another firm favourite of mine.

The first solo to La Villa Strangiatto is hairs-on-the-back-of-your-neck-stand-up good, especially the first, quieter, part.

Buddy Holly's That'll Be The Day is a great solo and real fun to play.

There is no 'H' in Aych, you know that don't you? ~ Wife

Turns out there is an H in Haych! ~ Sporky

    Bit of trading feedback here.

Best Friends Girl by Elliot Easton. God, I love that solo. It's like a little sunbeam of joy beamed right into your ears.
Yes! Was learning that a while back. Great instructional video by Jason Read aka The Jase on YouTube

Best single ever; great intro and repeat run down, catchy as hell and upbeat tongue in cheek lyrics.  Will never understand how this didnt get on Radio One playlist first time it was released as it had hit written all over it.

I'M GOING TO SHOCK YOU ALL DOWN TO THE CORE...BASS SOLO!

    Rancid - 'Maxwell Murder'

Trust me, as a bassist first and foremost, playing THAT quick on a bass neck takes some skill practice

    First track.
Maybe. But you might find he’s using a delay.

Sorry to burst your bubble. Is it still your favourite now you know he’s playing at half the speed you thought he was?

My favourite bass solo for sure! Surely he's not using delay? It doesn't sound like it.
