    Holy necromancer thread...

And like @ToneControl my PRS guitars are worth double what I paid for them - which is nice, but equally irrelevant as they aren't for sale!!
    Never Ever Bloody Anything Ever.

I've owned a few PRS but just don't seem to connect with them musically in the same way I do with a good Tele.  Can't really blame PRS for that.

That is... very nice, cannot get over how the selector switch seems to have got roasting hot and sunk into the finish, far too much contour there, otherwise very nice

Anyone else suffer from the ailment of being completely averse to PRS guitars...but every time I see Carlos Santana playing one I have a bizarre compulsion to rush immediately to a guitar store to purchase the brand and plug into a wicker grilled Mesa Boogie.
    ...she's got Dickie Davies eyes...

My only impulse when Santana is in the area is to cover my ears and hope he fucks off!

Carlos Santana could play a $200 guitar through a charity shop amp and still sound awesome. Some people just have the mojo.

Gentlemen, we have some contradictory views.  Pistols at dawn?  I'm prepared to act as somebody's second.

I was watching some 80s music videos on freeview yesterday That's 80s (?) channel.
I noticed a few PRS looking guitars.
The videos were generally really bad. Makes you realise your past it.

Maybe that's something to do with something?

Nope. Not fashionable now and I don’t think they ever will be.
Fashion is for young people, PRS are not.
Many years on, still stand by this. No nearer cool than before.

Having owned a few since that post, I can definitely say they are exquisitely made but will never grace the cover of Vogue.

No Carlos Banana, no Mesa Boogie name.
Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing  ;)
