    Best of luck @RedRabbit !

I'm doing my first HM a week tomorrow. I didn't follow a plan as such, but did three runs per week, gradually increasing the long run.  I think I feel just about ready ... we'll see next Sunday!

Best 5k time in a while for me 27:24.
Geneva is much nicer to run in than grey & cold UK.
Clear, blue and 13 degrees so far.

Missed parkrun, only 2 runs for me this week.

Just did a 16k in practice for the Cambridge half next week.

Recovering from a chest infection so I was pleased I didn't drop dead halfway round.

  • I did my first ever 20km today. Planning to now take it easier for the week leading up to the race.

5k at just over 6min/k. Would probably be under if I’d started the timer after I put my shoes on and hadn’t spoken to a neighbour at the end.

The usual 5x 5km runs for me this week. Cheers for sharing that @mcsdan that's exactly what's going on with me now. I haven't lost an ounce this week but have stuck with around 1600 calories a day. Not bothered as I feel very fit.

Sick of hearing/seeing things about the virus so banging out for a bit until it dies down as it's on here too, unsurprisingly.

Sort of the usual for me. 2 x 6.5 and one 5.5 mile run, stretching the pace a little. I was going to do a long run now, but I was working until midnight and I can't be bothered. :)

Week 1 of half marathon training done though it actually included week 2's long run (was feeling good so kept going and ended up doing 5 miles rather than 4) and a couple of extra 2 mile runs.

13 miles still seems a long way off but I'm feeling better about than I was last week.

  • Just completed my first half marathon  =)

It was a brilliant experience - nice weather (if a bit windy in parts) and a lovely atmosphere all round the course.

My time was 1:42:55, which I'm very happy with.  The good thing about doing your first HM is that any time is a de facto PB  ;)

So, I think I may have the bug.  No, not that one ... I mean there may well be some more races for me in future.

Nice one. That's a decent time.

Anyone doing Hastings half at the end of the month?
(I'm entered and looking forward to it, as long as I can keep niggles at bay)

Just did the Cambridge half as well.

Was hard work and much slower than my time last year, but I'm pleased with myself as I've had all sorts of health problems so doing it at all was a win.

Flipping amazing some of these distances! Well done.

Day off for me today. I've ran 5 days on the bounce and had to force myself into a rest day.

I don't see why anyone would stop you going for a run in your own.

Preventing people taking exercise is only going to make things worse.
