Neural Quad Core thing demo

Sounds great to me in the Pete Thorn and Rabea videos on it. Does it seem worth the extra over what's out there at the minute? I'm not sure, I do like the form factor though.

As has been said it would be hard to move away from a company like Line 6 where the customer support, updates and community are pretty consistently great - I feel like that's more important with a digital product for some reason.

Guitarguitar. You don’t seem to be able to do it with Neural directly. 

It says they should be stocking the dealers by the end of Jan. I’m not sure what the deal is with that right now tho.

I’ll give my thoughts but can’t really give a huge impression until band practice you know. I was thinking that it could be cool to have both units on a crazy board lol.

I'm not a fan of Tom Quayle's music, but his demo is very good and he might actually pick even cleaner than Paul Gilbert does.
Very impressive.

I asked the GuitarGuitar guys last week when putting down my deposit and they said stock due in some point mid-late feb but they’re anticipating delays...brexit and covid attributing to any freight taking longer than normal. So wouldn’t surprise me if it’s sometime in March

Watched a few of the demos of the Quad Cortex today. Rabea, Andertons, Pete Thorn and Tom Quayle all very positive. Rhett Shull a little underwhelmed in a few ways (effects better on Helix and Kemper). Sounds great to me, and looks very easy to use. Can't believe I'm thinking about buying one.

If the effects are better on Kemper, which were mediocre when I had one in 2019 then bloody hell that’s worrying. Helix are fine.

The ability to capture your own pedals renders that issue null and void really. I’m sure what ships in the unit will be perfectly usable for the majority of us

Not really null and void. Drive pedals sure, but you can’t capture phasers, Strymon delay etc. But I agree the effects in there will probably be fine.
