PRS DGT SE incoming...

What's Hot
Picked up from the gear page... Grissom is talking about a DGT SE which is great news. Given that they have put a custom neck shape on the Silver Sky SE, it could bode well for an SE replica that mimics the neck of the core DGT model. I'd love another one but will never stretch to a full fat version again.

Superb news.

I checked with PRS customer services after seeing DG playing that semi and they said no.
However, I am sure they are not going to give the announcement to some random internet query.

Perhaps a limited edition semi the way they did with the 594 a few years ago.

A shame all the SEs have bloody birds
    Red ones are better.

Very cool and makes a lot of sense as everyone loves the DGT, but they are crazy expensive now. (Glad I got mine when I did!)

I remember when they are like £1k to £1200 used!  The average price now is double that.

He mentions they making the thinline in the video, just says they’re taking ages because of the silver sky.

    a custom neck shape
The neck profile is just a program of instructions to control a CNC machine. Thus, it is just a matter of choosing to apply it at a given price point.

My SEs are a mixed bunch of plain dots, moons, birds (doubled on the 25th Anniversary CU24) and stupid diagonal lines on the SE Santana II.
You say, atom bomb. I say, tin of corned beef.

I thought they had. I got mine off this board and glad I did, but I did have a sniff for a gold top dgt last year and the prices were eyewatering.

If it has the moon inlay and something other than wide/fat I'm definitely interested. Stoptail would be nice too.

If its a stop tail, it won't be a DGT. The whole reason the model exists is because PRS discontinued the McCarty trem

Didn't they make some of the core DGT with a stoptail?

An SE McCarty stoptail would be even better for me :)
